since the last update..
the barney's wearhouse sale & the jonathan beach club: with my darling erin. our last day together. she's flyin-away to texa$$$, leaving me in the behind in the california dust. shes there now, drinking up a storm with the beautiful rich student body, breaking her cell phone and leaving me the next-runner-up to the oh-so-infamous drunk dial, the drunk myspace message. but for our last day, we rocked the barney's sale, cruised in big momma with the windows down on pch, chilled at the jonathan club, ran into some rich bitches of erins past, lunched, sunned, swam and slept. i miss my mk very much. sincerely, ash.<3

the day with my girls of SB, preceded by late sushi in the LBC biotchh: my gorgeous hawaiian beauty morgan visiting me for the day. third street & fred segal & having teresa shop us. meeting up with lindsay bluered GREEN and spending hours deciding whether to go to LB or have them come up here, all while sitting on morgans car in the sun in the fred segal parking lot. driving separately to the LBC, racing morgan on the freeway, meeting up and waaaving until we both exited. late night sushi with three beautiful girls, morgan shae and erin. talks about sb & abroad people & boys & LIFE. wonderful night.
it wouldnt be a break if i didnt go to robertson with my hills: SO TRUE. i love her. she is my adorable loafer wearing stylish partner in crime. rebel yell sweatshirt twin & convincing the grandparents to buy the cashmere sweater (so worth it). rapidfire shopping sesh, and in a flash of neurotic, beautiful randomness, hillary is on a plane back to texas.

since my last entry there have been some wonderful rendezvous.
sun drenched days and late hot nights. im a working boy but i always leave enough time to play.
so far, this summer is topping all others.
heres what ive been up to.
a day with jessica & our sunshine song as always la da dee da & starbucks iced coffee & manhattan beach & getting black & splashing crashing and swimming in the warm waves & our workout hike back to the car & being the blondes that we are & how excited am i that shes going to be starting in SB this fall as a first year fresher! the trouble has just begun...
a night with michelle who is my IG4L (you will always be my independent girl fo life) & dinner at cpk & westwood & leaving the fendi wallet! & finding it phew & walking around laughing & singing to the old summer songs in the lexus & driving down wilshire & wedding crashers was hilarious & IB always and forever.

& sunglass shopping with mel and in n out with friends at 11 and will and grace at 1130.

yesterday was my favorite day of all summer. the best day.
i spent it with my twin sister, my goregous bff. i love you shaelen ann.
we cruised down pch with the sun shining, that smile of yours lighting up the world. starbucks stop, two hot blondes in a fiesty little red jett. cross creek beach in malibu, hot europeans in speedos, chanel twins, tan surfers catching waves, splashing in the ocean, tanlines, talks about our boys, toes in the sand, photoshoots, talking to shell as she was coming home from the BARN haha, and getting the tannest everr.
come home, change clothes and go.

12:48 am - THE SUMMER 2005 ENTRY PART ONE

soooo its been a month since my last update in this thing, and i HATE that. i always tell myself i am going to update more during the summer, but the reality is im always so busy that i honestly dont have time to keep this a constant. buuuut.. i am going to try. even if its just a few thoughts or an awesome day and some hot pictures, there will start to be more entries now, i promise!
lets see, it's halfway through july, so that means summer is off to a rad start! some highlights:
in june i drove down to dana point, for a day with mary. shopping, coffee and the best of all: mary and her family were staying at the amazing st. regis resort & hotel, this 5 star in dana where all the celebrities stay. we put on the super huge robes and our huge sunglasses, went out to the jacuzzi and just were the hottest shit ever. it was a foggy day, but we were in the jacuzzi and the lounge chairs, with a view of a golf course and the ocean.. super fun day.
& mr. and mrs. smith with jessie & the olive garden as always with eriko & being the 2 blonde recruiters with jessica & laying out late in the afternoon with chris & sushi & movie nights with mel & wasteland & long calls with stephen & missing colleen endlessly & babysitting puka with kendra
& driving down to laguna to spend a sunshine filled day with my lolo and south coast plaza and playing with the best dog ever (buster) and lacoste and searching for white loafers to no avail and laughing and one of our infamous photoshoots and watching her "guide to laguna beach" on the dvd while she left the room haha and attempting to ditch work and lounging in her house and planning what furniture to buy for out apartment next year and loving my lolo!
& manhattan beach with mel and eating breakfast at this awesome little cafe but i forgot what its called but i got an awesome panini and laying out and sharing my ipod and giving the woman and her kids suntan lotion and attempting the ocean but that was deffff a no go and loving beach dayys with mel!
& jason and me and making fun of the way we say bye (byeee & bah) and secret jacuzzi missions and getting drunk at the perfect time and planning for our homeless day and him making fun of the way i talk and hauling his bike around in my trunk and conversations that defff did not need to occur in certain places! ..and you know where i mean, and why im not mentioning it! but it does involve a bunch of mexicans! haha<33
& the coffee bean fire pit with mel! & me and shae being busy working bees & the amazing summertimes at abercrombie as always with erin and jess and allll the rest & planning sb roadtrips & rekindling old flames & the hot chick (it's mee.. jesssica!) & andrew is in dc & i miss him & the drive down santa monica has come back for a second round & it's still hot & the 4th of july on geoff's boat in the marina and bikerides & driving around with the windows down on a sunny day with jessica sanborn and blasting the LA LA DAA DEE DA DA abercrombie song and bouncing around and people looking at us because we are the two perkiest tannest blondes they have ever seen and we must have looked so dumb bopping along to this cheesy song but we love it & planning a day with shamu at sea world with rachel coxy cox! & i miss KAT! & working up a storm at nordstrom and making sooo much $$$ & there is a girl who i adore and her name is erin.
me & erin are amazing and we have fun at abercrombie and she is the cutest and the other night i drove up to the highlands and we tried renting a movie but failed attempt and drove around in BIG MOMMA and probably honked at people haha and ate popcorn, looked at pictures of MK & lohan and lohan's chanel suits that are "priced upon request" ooh lala and took pictures and left each other funny myspace comments & watched the goonies & i love her!
& me and erikos night of awesomeness and me being drunk for it (life of the party!) and century city and the cell phone blinging out booth & "for me, only 80 dollar both side" (notice the incorrect grammar of that sentence, yaaa thats the guy at the booth's way of stating that phrase!) & going into the louis store but being too afraid to ask if the purse is real & movies in westwood & duh olive garden & driving to last summer abercrombie music & i love love LOVE it.
& i probably forgot so much, but those are the highlights of my summer so far.
& tommorrow i am hanging out with my IG michelle! im your IB fo life!

ok well first of all,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!
this is my golden birthday, 20 on the 20th. this is it, the big 2-0h, no longer a teener, now fully entering a new era of my life. ahh scary! but what i am really calling this birthday is "yet another year i'm not 21". but i'll get back to my birthday festivities in a little.
realizing what a super tard i am about updating this biotch, i am gonna have to cover a whole lot of ground with this one measly little entry. knowing that it has been long awaited by at least one loyal reader (shoutout to colleen who better anonymously comment on this one or it's on!).. i have like super lagged on this one.
the last week of school was intense. between studying for finals (kind of) and layint out/playing (definitely) and moving out and all that that entailed, i was a busy little boy! finals went well, i got my grades back and i got all A's... verrrry proud of myself this time around. the last week of spring quarter was definitely a blur of sun, photos, redbull, studying, packing, playing and memories. i officially moved out of big old janky, also known as 6508 el greco #4, and i think i am gonna miss the old apt. i mean it was my first apartment i ever lived in by MYSELF. well i mean duh i had roomates, but i mean like parent-free. it deff has some memories in there such as all of our parties, destroying the carpet, getting the turtles, laying out on the balcony, dance partied with lo, underwear photoshoots with britta, study seshes at the living room table, OC marathons and freebirds/jack in the crack with the roomies, 24 and all the drama, andrew alwayys napping on the couch, teriyaki bowls, and SEND IT OVER! i packed up everything into boxes and abercrombie bags, and left my key on the counter.
the last week of school me and britta tried to beach it, but bugs got the best of us so we went to the pool, layed out and splashed around. i miss you dude, the week that you come soon and visit me will be heaven!<3
that afternoon was a BBQ at chris', we brought the couches up to his apt's roof, listened to some bob marley, drank some beers, and just soaked in the sun enjoying where we live. BEAUTIFUL.

the last night of school (friday the 10th) i did not sleep a wink! i was up all night!
between last minute packing, drinking with andrew, going out seeing allllllll of my friends and saying summer"see-you-laters", drunken taboo with the girls downstairs, pizza and champagne, cleaning my bathroom for 2 hours, packing packing and more PACKING and just getting everything all taken care of i did not have time to stop! my parents came and got me the next day, lunch at pascucci and just like that i was cruising down PCH, home for the summer.

10:04 pm - a day in la

its winding down.... i have my last final tomorrow which i am so over and not even concerned with.. and then im officially on summer!!!! get excited!
yesterday me and natalie drove down for an amazing day in la. we left at 1030, blasted down PCH with the amazing abercrombie megamixes and the sun was shining, ocean waves crashing, loving lifee. my mom made us an aamazing lunch and we had lunch with my parents, then beached it out on manhattan beach for 3 hours got black midday napped and got super messed out beach hair which totally worked for me the rest of the day. we walked around abbot kinney and then went to the promenade.. such fun shopping. hit up abs, saw jason (yay!) met the new managers, bought clothes, tried on the new jeans which are actually surprisingly gnarly and got on the sched full time again. so pumped! the new cd seems rad! then we got dinner and shopped more.. and after a long tiring super fun day drove back to SB. i am so glad ive gotten closer with N-DAV, (and i am Z-TAN) she is just a super awesome girl and its gonna be ON for next year!
we're moving out of the apartment and its a SHITSTORM. packing, cleaning, reminiscing, drinking, jammin out.. its too much to handle! this was a fun apartment.. it was HUGE for iv standards.. kinda janky but awesome..
im gg study haha yea right ill prolly just pack / jam out to summer music on this warm windy night.

and, as any normal college student would do the night before they have 2 finals, i am updating my journal!
well, this quarting is winding down faster and faster every day, and i both hate and adore this time of year. it's that feeling of studying like no other for finals, swilling redbull, being surrounded by textbooks and notes, and wanting to just run around outside in the sun but being forced to study. it's almost over though, and then the fresh new beginning of a new summer is here. this is also a time of moving up and moving out.. and on saturday i will be moving out of my first apartment. i know i say this every year, but it feels like i just moved in.. the fact that i am halfway through college is surreal to me right now.
this week is a hectic one.. but i am uncontrollably excited. i have two finals tomorrow, tuesday is me and natalies little day trip to LA for shopping, beaching and cuisine, wednesday is another study day, thursday is a final and seeing loves, friday is packing/getting my life together/last official day at abs/partying/most likely staying up all night with my summer playlist putting all my memories into boxes, my clothes onto hangers. saturday my parents are picking me up in the explorer.. and im moving home.
but enough of the serious stuff.. friday night i got drizzunk with the best of 'em! it was laura's second annual birthday PINK PARTY and the theme of the night was definitely hot pink tan blondes. so much fun, it's parties like this that will stay in my memories of pre-summer at ucsb.

10:22 pm - the countdown to summer continues

i've said it once and i'll say it again.. I LOVE SPRING QUARTER! recappppp time.
-jenny is hot! i love my jenny.. and we look hot in these pictures! i dont remember when they are from, but she sent them to me, and undoubtedly we were out for a night of trouble in the streets of IV.
-last weekend was so fun! saturday i went on a long bike ride on this cool trail, with like waterfalls and stuff, and come upon this horse ranch! it was rad! i was jammin the pod to all my new summer songs, such a hot nice day! had a good catch-up-convo with eriko (shes coming back to ABS!), then i headed to the beach just to lay out by myself, got super dark and then had a photoshoot at 5 (which came out so rad, im gonna post the proofs soon).. aaand then my COLLEEN CAME HOME! i was soooooo excited to see her (she was in europe for 4 weeks). we went to sushi at taiko, and caught up and i love my best friend my baby!
-last week was yet another drunken round, with stace and vick and sheila.. warm night with fun friends.. stumbling around and late night food fests (so grossssss). hot!

-last week was kianne's berfday.. so we all got together and drank a few for her 20th (or as i like to call it, another year you're not 21). haha<3
-last night was officially dubbed "THE NIGHT OF THE SKUNK"! first, upon arriving at our friend dustin's get together, me and meg see a fat skunk crawl off of dustin's porch! ahhhhhh it was sick! second, driving home from food i almost hit one in the car! that would have smelled great! haha.. but last night was fun.. we hung at dustins, played drinking games, got food, watched saved by the bell and had a sleepover!
-today was the funnest day everr! me and andrew had abs duty @ 11.. but we worked with tami and lana so it was fun! all the brandreps got free chipotle burritos so we pigged out.. then me and natalie and ted wanted to go to the beach so we walked to the beach and layed out for like an hour, then came back to work and it was crazy busy! after work me and nat got sushi at taiko and pumped the abs jams on the ride home. tommorrow is memorial day so its beach time!

12:50 am - ive been so bad at this lately

well spring quarter is flying by.. and unlike last year around this time, i have seriously been a huge lagger on the updates.
myspace has zapped up all my attention.
here are a few highlights of these past few sundrenched weeks:
-cinco de mayo: met up with my wonderful kateybee and rocked iv with our blinding blondeness. my goal of the cinc was to down a few salt-rimmed margs, and i have to say, mission accomplished! we galavanted around, arm in arm, from one crowded party to another, ending up at some infamous girl named "boozin susan"s birthday extravaganza. from there, katey showed me the beautiful boy who we're gonna snag and make all mine hers. ha! i love you! after the night out we came back to the pad and watched the OC on my bed.. me in tears and seriously disturbed as kirsten was smashed into by an eighteen wheeler.. wow i was disturbed from that for like the next two days!
-boys night in: me and andrew found some hole in the wall "el-super-authentic" mexican restaurant on hollister and hit it up, bought ice cream, were totally over going out due to the fact that i felt like an extreme sicky and especially pooey, so we watched clueless (the movie of our generation.. "earth to cher, come in cher!!") and drove around in the honda blastin the jams. DAMN YOU UCLA!
-three's company: so i am absolutely obsessed with rachel cox and jenny carion. and who can blame me? favoriteeeees. me and rachel got off work and saw the really really really ridiculously good looking movie "crash" and were just floored by it. have no fear, that did not stop us from a night on the town! and by town, i mean wandering through iv as usual. we took some shots, headed out for the night, ran into jenny, had a twenty minute (I AM NOT KIDDING) photoshoot in the middle of the street, ran into my fan club who demanded a picture (flash to me later that night looking at my camera photos, "WHO IS THAT!?" hahaha) and headed back to trop where all the action started. cue jenny breaking windows, rachel doing the "call on me" aerobics dance, trying to act sober for RAs, and nearly getting in a full-blown-ghetto-trash-bitchfight with the beat ass bitches downstairs. AHAHAHA.
-i heart my PIC (partner in crime): saturday was me and kats day of looooove. we beached it for two hours, got black, walked, talked and flirted with my sunglasses boy, followed by an afternoon of line waiting and mediocre rapping from busta rhymes at the self-proclaimed "EXTRAVAGANZA!" (which, by the by, was not so extravagant). but i love my little identical twin and how excited am i for the SEA WORLD SUMMER FUN FEST 2005 with kat and cox! yeaaaaa! oh, shamu, watch out.

besides pooey midterms (that i actually rocked, shockingly) and now pooey weather..
here are a few highlights from the past week...
so one night me and britta decided that since we hadn't seen each other in AN ETERNITY that she would come over and see where the night takes us. wellll the night took us to drunkville, population 2! after having difficulties involving the wine cork, we popped open that JUG of wine like it was hotttttt and got drunk off of wine via brittany, future wine conosseiur (total sp). then the logical thing to do was take off our clothes and have a photoshoot, so that's exactly what we did!

saturday was the infamous ISVT in santa barbara are greek park.. which is basically all the sorority girls in bikinis and volleyball and sun and fun and everyone starts drinking at like 10am and theres a dj and just INSANITY and dancing and skin and sun and then the pass-out nap around 4.. but this years was HOT SHIT

so today i went to class, wanted to lay out but it was too gross outside booo, took a long nap, saw jenny my love at a most unfortunate place (let's not talk about it) but i loveee her, took a shot of sauza gold with andrew, then curled up and watched homeward bound and sobbed like a baby at the end but i loveeeeee shadow <3, and then played online and am now talking to drew on the phoneeee<3

this weekend was, in a word, awesome! i know, right?
saturday me and emily got all ready and left to drive down to la.. we got the purse full of redbulls, water bottles, four rad mixes with singable sunny super fun tunes, hopped into sharky and soared down PCH with the sun shining waves crashing and laughter and smiles. we stopped in santa monica to get fooders slash buy some stuff.. then we got on the good old reliable traffic ridden 405south to newport beach and fashion island to meet my embarassing but i dont care i heart him super celebrity crush JESSE MCCARTNEY!
he did lounge22 at the hollister at fashion island, and i saw kinder (my old GM at A&F in SM who is now a DM for HCo -- that was alot of abbreviations!) which was fun, me and em pretended to be hollister brand reps and got the super vip treatment. they built this whole stage outside for his concert.. it was craaaaz-y. there were like thousands of screaming 13 year old girls, ahhhhhhh that was much, but we got to be right in front for the concert and it was actually super fun and he was good! we didnt know any other songs besides beautiful soul.. but we got a free cd which he autographed and listened to it.. ok super dork mode but his songs are actually soo good and catchy.. we love them! FLASH forward to driving home from the night -- zack and emily singing all the wrong words in the car to the j.mccart cd while we learn them.. "because you liiiiveeee and breathe.." haha -- after the concert we had backstage passes so we got to meet him and have him sign stuff (he signed a BW headshot for me and em's cd).. he wasnt allowed to take pictures WITH us we could only take a picture OF him LAMMMEEEEEEEEEcentral but he was super cute and nice he talked to me and em for like 5 minutes.. hes such a teener but i heart him! seriously, im like obsessed.. this weekend did it to me.
afterwards we went to cheesecake factory and latenight fooded and then came home and sleppppppt.

sunday we woke up got coffee went shopping and saw the hilarious GHETTO "beauty shop" and like it was soooo funny! we couldnt stop laughing. after the movie we packed up photoshooted a little and drove home sing songing nonstop.

ps- my multimillion dollar mega super genuis idea. ok. so. we all know that everyone ever LIVING loves aqua (barbie girl, freaky friday, bumble bees) and the vengaboys (boom boom boom boom, we like to party) so all we really need is someone to bring these two super powers together and the world would be theirs! think about it.. how awesome would that be, a super fun AQUAboys (if you will) cd right now?!?

12:22 am - spring break, 1994 baby! (actually, 2005, but i love the sweetest thing)

so spring break came and went in a flash.. a flash of relaxation, sleep, and hotness...
lots and lots of sleep, but then again, the hotness wasnt in short supply either.
...i also: went shopping with kim, worked 25 hours at abercrombie, lived out the tradition and saw the ring 2 with grissel, acted crazy and ate too much food with scottery, olive gardened it up in manhattan with eriko and got our ushe, saw someone who is rad to come home to, hung out with my aunt and uncle and cute little cousin, went to the beach, bought too many clothes, met up with kat and her sis and her sisters cutest dog EVER a tiny white maltese named koda, relaxed slept and missed the simple pleasure of watching friends and will and grace at 11, hung out with chris in westwood smoked hookah and had a late night jerrys deli pickle fix. pictures below!
i did well in my classes also bytheway, 2 a's and a b!
now im back in santa barbara and its beautiful.
classes are alright so far, but my MOST favorite thing right now is the supersunnywarm weather, running errands, seeing my loves and playing, taking photos partying drinking redbull and being young and beautiful.
monday was a sundrenched day of shopping errands tanning being blustered away with em.. followed by a luau party monday night at 07 followed by staying up until 3am bawling our eyes out to the notebook. does it every TIME!
today was class slash major fatty food fests at outback steakhouse with lo and i loveeeeeeeeeeyou.

9:14 pm - finals, pics and spring break!

so ok, last week = finals = boooo!
i stayed up late, drank plenty of redbull and crammed to my hearts content, but overall i finals went very well.. i've already recieved two of my course grades (a B in comm and an A in human sex) and am still waiting on my art studio grade, but i am very happy so far! its funny because this quarter was super fun and i didn't really study as much as previous quarters, yet i did pretty freakin good! haha..
after finals i went out with tasha and colls and my independent girl michelle was in sb for the night, so we got all hotted out and had a photoshoot (what a surprise).

spring break has been super fun so far, i'll do a whole spring break entry when i get back to SB..
